Potential Loss vs Acceptance of The Now

My bestest friend Curtis Youngberg just relayed this to me:

Life is series of additions. Even when we lose something, we don't lose any happiness we derived from it, we only stop receiving it temporarily until we find something (usually better) that takes its place.

I thoroughly agree with this message.

For the last week, I have been going through what has to be the most fulfilling period of my life. I am accomplishing stuff I had become incredibly pessimistic in achieving, due chiefly to the deficiencies in so many people that I viewed it as irrational to assume anyone would be any different.

I am now happy to report that that assumption was fully rooted in the logical fallacy called Confirmation Bias!

And this brings me much happiness; to finally break through some of my long—held pessimisms towards the human species.
